The Hyderabad Metro rail stretch between Ameerpet to Hi-Tech City is at its final frontier by the end of next week. The Commissioner of Metro Rail is now conducting last round of inspections on the 13 kms of stretch to ensure the safety of passengers.
The safety Commission will inspect the electrical, train control,signalling, civil works, permanent way, stations, RoB, rolling stock and other railway systems of Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL).
Although it was said that the metro rail of Hi-Tech city stretch will start by Janurary end, but it took a little long because of the trial runs and test that were conducted every day by the technical experts and engineers to see that various critical performance and parameters
The managing director of Hyderabad Metro Raol Limited (HMRL) NVS Reddy said, “We need safety certifications from the CMRS, which we are expecting to be received in a few days. Once we get the certification we will approach the Chief Minister to fix the date of launch.”
The 10 Metro stations from Ameerpet to Hi-Tech city are Madhura Nagar, Yousufguda, Road Number 5 – Jubilee Hills, Jubilee Check Post, Peddamma Temple, Madhapur, Durgam Cheruvu, Hi-Tech City, Shilparamam and Raidurgam.
The security staff at all the stretch from Ameerpet to Hi-Tech city Metro stations has been alerted that the services might start at any time after the final inspection.
