Campaigns in Telangana Reached to Crucial Phase

Almost campaigns in Telangana state reached to a crucial phase because just ten days left to assembly polls in the state. Already current care taking TRS govt campaigned almost all over the state; congress alliance too started its campaigns. Remaining, this week will definitely crucial for intensification of all campaigns in this regard. National political leader’s schedules already planned accordingly. Last week Congress leader Sonia Gandhi along with Rahul attended in the Medchal public meeting. Yesterday BJP President Amit Shah addressed public meeting at Nirmal. Now, this is the time for the PM Modi, he will address two meetings in Telangana tomorrow.

As part of electioneering in Telangana- star Campaigner of BJP- PM Modi will address two public gatherings one at Nizamabad and second one at Mahaboobnagar tomorrow. We all knew that the BJP is going solo in the state Assembly polls while the Congress is leading a grand alliance of opposition parties including the Telugu Desam Party, the Communist Party of India and the Telangana Jana Samiti.

In this Campaigning for the upcoming Telangana Assembly polls in the state reached into interesting phase because top leaders of the nation will go to campaign in Telangana this week .From now only 10 days left for the assembly polls.

Telangana BJP president already announced that PM Modi will address rallies at Nizamabad and Mahabubnagar on tomorrow and another campaign is scheduled at the Lal Bahadur stadium in Hyderabad on December 3,which just three days ahead of the elections.

In addition to PM Modi., BJP president Amit Shah will also have meeting in Telangana on November 28 and December 2.

On the other side sources stating that- Rahul Gandhi will be part of a road show at Parigi and Chevella near Hyderabad on November 29. The Congress chief had attended a public meeting at Medchal on the outskirts of Hyderabad along with UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on November 23.

The tour schedule of Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is being finalised and he is likely to campaign in Telangana on November 28 and 29.

For the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), its president and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has already been addressing campaign rallies across the state. In addition to KCR IT minister in caretaker government KT Rama Rao has been canvassing in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) region and had almost completed their big campaigns.

As compared to all political parties current caretaking TRS government is ahead of all parties in the campaigns; they almost completed their big campaigns across the state.

Sources saying that- Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also likely to visit Telangana for the campaigns in addition to top national leadership.

BJP is going it alone in this Assembly polls. The party had five MLAs in the state assembly, which was dissolved on September 6 and it hopes to substantially increase its strength in the coming elections.

Yesterday, BJP president Amit Shah hit out at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for not taking action against AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in connection with a hate speech and also stated that current TRS govt is afraid of AIMIM party.

Shah also claimed that KCR was afraid of the AIMIM, which he described as a ‘Razakars party.’

“This is the land (Nirmal) where Akbaruddin Owaisi gave a speech. He insulted Hindu gods. There was also a case against him. But this TRS government failed to take further action. I want to ask Chandrasekhar Rao, why are you not taking action? Do it now, otherwise you would lose power to take action -TRS government would be voted out.”-said Shah.

Shah also highlighted the Kondagattu incident and stated that the current ruling govt had no time to visit families of the 60 people who died when an overcrowded state bus plunged into a valley in Kondagattu in the state’s Jagtial district in August this year.

“This Chief Minister does not have the time to visit the victims of the Kondagattu bus accident. But he has time to eat biryani with Owaisi brothers. KCR is scared of this Razakars party. That is why he is not holding celebrations for Hyderabad Liberation Day on September17” -he highlighted.

Shah also attacked the TRS government over farm distress and claimed that as many as 131 farmers had committed suicide in Gajwel constituency from where KCR is seeking re-election.

In this present context just 10 days before the elections, the political situations in the Telangana state reached to crucial point. In these campaigns current care taking government highlighting its developmental programmes which it has implemented during previous four years and on the other side grand alliance of the Congress highlighting the biggest failures of present govt- like its failure of providing jobs which it has promised earlier to the unemployed youth of the state and also highlights the failure in granting or providing double bed-room houses to the beneficiaries. During last public meeting at Medchal the Congress party and its alliances highlighted the Sonia Gandhi’s instrumental role in the formation of new Telangana state. They are trying to fetch the sentiments of this. The alliance strongly believing that these sentiments will definitely translated into votes. Now, the fact is clear -the competition is clear between TRS and grand alliance of the congress in Telangana. The fact is that the BJP doesn’t impact that much in the Telangana state because of its cadre lack at grass root levels.

In the present contexts ,situations of politics it is  highly difficult to guess who will form the govt in the state though some surveys predicting and projecting some figures for all parties of the state. Despite this, we have to accept that public will definitely observes every aspect of politics and situations in depth and accordingly they finally decides whom to cast their votes, whom to give the power.
