The official Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) gave the information that the spread of heat wave condition will be larger and it may affect the regions up north, southern parts of Hryana and South Uttar Pradesh.

Maharashtra also has a hot start of April. The three major regions of the state Marathwada, Vidharbha and Madhya Maharashtra are likely to witness the highest heat waves till April 4. Heat lows are low-pressure areas forming over very hot regions during summer, when temperatures are high.  They form because of intense heating in comparison to the surrounding environments. Temperatures are peaking across cities, especially those in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Kashyapi said off late, MP and Maharashtra had the highest number of locations in India reporting heat wave conditions.

Till April 2, the Met department has forecast “severe heat wave” at isolated places with heat wave at some places in Marathwada. From April 3 to 4, isolated places here may be affected with this phenomenon. Vidarbha, too, may witness heat wave conditions at isolated places on April 2, at some places on April 3 and 4, and isolated places on April 5.
