Salman’s case to be heard today in Session Court

Salman Khan was sentenced to 5 year imprisonment for killing a rare species Blackbuck in Kankani near Jodhpur in 1998 while shooting for his hit film “Hum Saath Saath hai.” He was alleged with his co-stars from the movie, after the last hearing Tabu, Neelam, Sonali and Saif were  acquitted but Salman was convicted.

He was charged under the section 51 of the wildlife Protection Act and others under Section 51 read with Section 149 of the Indian Penal Code. In last April the Jodhpur court found him guilty for killing two blackbucks, he even spent a night in jail for the blackbuck shooting case.  

Post the punishment in jail and verdict, Salman challenged Rajasthan court’s decision by appealing the case to the sessions court. This year in February, the hearing was postponed to April 3ed and tody the sessions court will deliver its verdict on Salman’s blackbuck poaching case.
