The 79th All India Industrial Exhibition, popularly known as “Numaish” was inaugurated yesterday by Home Minister of Telangana, Mohammed Mahmood Ali at the Nampally Exhibition Grounds.
The exhibition will run for 45 days and it is organised by the Exhibition Society from January 01 to February 15. It is expected that over 2,500 exhibitors will visit the affair from all over the country. Yesterday, a large number of families turned up at the Exhibition Grounds to check out the annual event.
The areas of playing equipment for children and food courts were the star attraction on the first day of Numaish. As of now only 50 per cent of the stalls are in various stages of completion. Small and Medium scale business owners who are owning apparels, Crockery and dry fruits from North Indian States including Kashmir started doing business right from day one.
The new star attraction installed specially for Selfie and photo point of Mahatma Gandhi Statue, attracted a steady stream of visitors. A private photography agency is clicking instant pictures against the backdrop of the statue and offering to the public at a cost.
The Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali Congratulated the Exhibition Society for successfully organising the event every year and hailed their services in the field of education. Adding to that he said “The state government will provide any help to the Exhibition society as it ensured quality education to lakhs of students.”
The president of the Exhibition Society and the former Finance Minister, Etela Rajender said that the Education Society was growing its work and funding education to the students studying in various districts of the State.
