Three flights of Spice Jet gets cancelled in Hyderabad

The Spice Jet move to ground its entire fleet of B 737 Max aircraft by keeping the instructions of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) was felt on the three sectors connecting Hyderabad on Wednesday. The scheduled flights to Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Mumbai were cancelled for a day and its passenger’s compensated for their inconvenience.

A spokesperson of the carrier said in a statement that, “A majority of passengers affected as a result of cancellation have been accommodated by Spice Jet on an alternative flight. The airline also offered passengers the option to a full refund changing the flight or date to travel or even change of destination at all this without any cancellation charges or any fare differences.”

Adding to that the officials of Spice Jet said it is trying to address the current situation and minimise inconvenience.
